New commission info-sheet!

Further details and Terms of Service below!

What I Will/Won't Draw

I'm happy to draw: Humans, anthros or other humanoid characters, dragons and fantasy creatures, chibis, most animals . Nudity, tasteful or otherwise, is fine.  I'm also happy to work outside my usual style within reason - if you'd like your picture to be more manga-style or cartoony or otherwise stylised, just let me know and I'll see what I can do! (Want a refsheet? I'm happy to make them, prices vary depending on how many images the sheet requires.)

I'm less experienced with drawing (but am happy to attempt): Lots of buildings/architecture, robots, cars, very complex clothing, horses, muscles, extreme perspective, people kissing, extremely detailed backgrounds.

I won't draw: Extreme gore, various kink art.  No gore, stuffing, inflation, etc. If you're not sure if I'll draw something, just ask. :)

(I do draw NSFW art, however you MUST be 18 or above to commission NSFW artwork from me.  I don't fancy breaking the law.)

General/Commissioning Process

:bulletyellow: Please send any messages about commissions either by note on dA, or to

:bulletyellow: If possible, please provide reference images for original characters.  If you don't have any reference, please send a thorough description!  Please give plenty of detail as to what you'd like me to draw.  The more, the better - it means I'm way more likely to get things right first time without needing more than one or two revisions, and that's better for both of us because it means I'm gonna get your commission finished faster and you don't have to worry about revision charges.

(Things to consider in your description: Character skin/eye/hair/etc colour, character pose, character expression, character clothing if applicable, details of setting/background if applicable.)

:bulletyellow: I really want to make sure any and all commissions are satisfactory.  After you send me your description, I'll send you back a rough sketch within a couple of days, and you can let me know if there need to be any revisions to designs/poses/the picture in general before I continue.  I allow two free revisions to the sketch.  If more revisions are required (which is unlikely to be the case, as long as I've been given a thorough description of what you'd like me to draw), the third and any subsequent revisions will be $2 each, to be paid before I continue drawing.

(Things that don't count as revisions, and I won't charge for: Adding missed minor details to the sketch, anything that will only take a couple of minutes to alter.  Don't worry, I'm not going to charge you if I forget to add a character's whiskers or coat buttons in the sketch and you point it out.)

:bulletyellow: You'll be sent several watermarked progress pictures while I work on it, and within reason I am happy to edit the commission as I work on it if you see things that need tweaking!

:bulletblue: I take payment via paypal - I don't have any other methods available to me, really, so I can't make exceptions. I'll send you my paypal address via note during the commission process.

:bulletblue: Payment should ideally be sent within two days of my sending you the final sketch. I will only start working on lineart (or tidyup/sending a non-watermarked version, for those who commissioned a sketch) once payment is sent.

:bulletblue: You can also send payment ahead of time, if you want to. Any commissions paid for before I start working on them will take priority and I will do my best to complete them as fast as I can!

:bulletblue: If payment isn't receieved within a week of my sending you the final sketch, your commission will be cancelled and I'll re-open your slot. (If your commission has been cancelled this way, message me when a slot is open, send payment, and I will finish your commission. I keep all sketches, so I'll always be able to pick up where I left off.)

:bulletred: If I for any reason can't complete or I have to cancel your commission, I will refund you in full.

:bulletred: If you cancel your commission once I have started work on linearting or colouring it, I will refund you minus a fee to make up for the time I've spent on it so far.

:bulletred: Commissions are not refundable once completed!

:bulletgreen: You will never have to wait more than two months for a commission!  I usually take between a few days and a couple of weeks to complete a full-colour commission, it really does depend on how easily it goes for me and how much detail is in it.  I'll always keep you updated with my progress!

:bulletgreen: If you need your commission by a certain date, I must have at least two weeks' notice. I'm not great at rushing things out, nor do I want to - I want your commission to be the best it can be!

And The Rest...

:bulletpink: I can turn down commissions.  It's unlikely, but if for any reason I cannot or will not draw something (whether that's because the subject matter is something I find particularly hard to draw and don't want to give a subpar picture, or it's something I'm uncomfortable with drawing, etc) I have the right to refuse.

:bulletpink: Reposting, editing and otherwise putting up/mucking around with art commissioned from me is allowed ONLY with credit given to me as the artist.  Printing off commissioned pictures is fine.  You cannot remove signatures!  Selling art commissioned from me in any form is not permitted.  Basically: no art thievery, because that's not cool, friend.

:bulletpink: Any commissioned art is likely to be posted here on dA and/or my Furaffinity, Tumblr, and Facebook page. I won't link any artwork to you without permission.

And that's it! If you have any questions about anything else to do with commissions, go ahead and ask. :3

How much are commissions?
oddsocket Featured By Owner Apr 21, 2015  Hobbyist Digital Artist
As it says in the graphic, it's $16 for one lineart, $24 for lineart with flat colours, $32 for cel-shaded and $42 for soft-shaded (all of these are base prices for a single full-body drawing with no/simple gradient or pattern background).

There are add-on charges for backgrounds and very complex pictures(+$3 - $18), and lower prices for sketches/busts/simpler pictures ($7 upwards) that will depend on what a commissioner would like me to draw specifically. :)

How much would you charge to do a deviant art id thing?
oddsocket Featured By Owner May 7, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist
That'd depend on what colouring style and how much is going on in the picture. :) I try to base my prices roughly around the length of time I estimate the commission will take me, so if you have something specific in mind you can note me or message me the details wherever and I can give you a price.
